We added a new member to the family on July 4. Whitney is our West Highland White Terrier and Seth & Shani are very happy that dad finally gave in to their relentless pleading for a dog!
Life in general is very good. We are having a great summer and are spending a lot of time at baseball fields and hanging out with friends. God continues to bless the church that meets at our house (Jim & Sue will be moving soon and plan to start a church in Idaho). I'm getting to preach a lot, look forward to traveling with the BGSU Falcon football team this season, and am having a great time with my job.

Jen,
We had planned to get a male but when we saw her we couldn't resist. We were all brainstorming about a name and when Kim said, "How about Whitney?" we all agreed. It seems to fit her well. :)

You have a great memory! I used to be allergic to dogs. A few months ago Seth & Shani started praying for God to heal me. Recently I've been around several different dogs with no affects at all. It sure is awesome to watch their faith grow as they see God answer prayer!
